Next Rally (also shown as Court Shuffle Pro) is a platform that clubs use to run game nights for racket sports — organising players into groups, sharing RSVP links, checking people in, and running fair court rotations with rankings. This policy explains what data we hold, why we hold it, and the choices you have. We use your data only to run the service. We do not sell it and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking.
Who runs Next Rally
Next Rally is operated by the club platform and the club administrators you play with. Your club is the primary owner of the roster and game data for its members; Next Rally provides the software and the hosting. Questions about a specific club's data can be raised with that club's admins, or with us using the contact below.
Information we collect
We only collect what's needed to run games and keep your account secure:
- Account & profile: your display name, username, and — only if you choose to add them — an email address, a phone number, and a profile photo. Each profile belongs to a single club.
- Login credentials: a password, which we never store in readable form (see the Security page). If you connect Google sign-in, we store your Google account identifier and the email Google confirms, so we can recognise you on future logins.
- Gameplay data: your RSVPs, check-ins, match results and scores, and the skill ratings and attendance/partner statistics computed from the games you play.
- Activity & security logs: sign-in times and occasional app-open records (kept short-term to power features like "last active"), and an audit log of privileged administrator actions.
- Device claim tokens: when you claim your name in a shared game, we store a token on your device so one device holds one name — this is not a tracking identifier and isn't shared with other clubs.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
- Create and manage your club profile and log you in.
- Run games: RSVP, check-in, fair court rotation, live scores, and rankings.
- Compute skill ratings, attendance/reliability, and partner statistics for your groups.
- Send you game reminders and account messages through the channels described below.
- Keep the service secure — detect abuse, rate-limit, and record administrator actions.
Notifications
To remind you about games and help you set up your account, we may message you over WhatsApp, email, or (if you turn it on) a push notification to your device. WhatsApp messages are sent through Meta's WhatsApp Business API; emails are sent through Resend; push notifications are sent through your browser or device's push service. We only send ongoing reminders to players who have finished setting up and logging into their account, and you can turn reminders off at any time from your account menu (and by leaving the group).
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that make Next Rally work, and only as much as each one needs:
- Supabase — our self-hosted database, file storage (for images), and realtime updates.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — to deliver WhatsApp messages to the phone number you provide.
- Resend — to deliver emails to the address you provide.
- Google — to verify "Sign in with Google" when you use it, and to power venue/location search for coordinators (Google Maps/Places).
- ShuttleSense — an optional companion analysis tool; we only pass a short-lived, signed hand-off so you can open it already signed in, if you choose to.
We never sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers. We may disclose data if required by law.
Phone numbers
Your phone number is treated as sensitive: it is never shown to other players or exposed publicly, and it is never readable by anonymous visitors. It's used only to log you in and to send the reminders you've allowed.
How long we keep data
We keep your profile and gameplay history for as long as your club account is active so that rankings and stats stay meaningful. Old, inactive game sessions are automatically purged, and short-term activity logs are automatically deleted after about 30 days. If you ask us (or your club admin) to remove you, we can deactivate your profile or permanently delete your personal data.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correct your profile any time from Edit profile in your account menu.
- Disconnect Google sign-in, change your password, or turn off reminders whenever you like.
- Request a copy of your data, or ask for your account to be deleted — contact your club admin or us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, deletion, objection); we honour valid requests.
Children
Next Rally is intended for use by clubs and their members, not by young children. Where a club includes junior players, the club and a parent or guardian are responsible for that member's participation and data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We'll change the "last updated" date at the top, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
